Elvis Beetham

Elvis grew up in Cornwall, UK, where he learned to surf in the mid-1980s. After years of travelling and surfing in Ireland, he settled in Louisburgh in 2007 and has been a key part of the SURFMAYO team ever since.

With SURFMAYO: Elvis has over 20 years’ experience coaching and working with groups of all ages, helping beginners build confidence in the water.

Highlights: Through working with community groups and schools in the UK, Elvis has developed skills in communication and empowering individuals and groups to overcome the challenges that are all part of learning to surf. Elvis has surfed extensively across the UK and internationally, and also shapes bespoke handcrafted surfboards under his Boogerlize label.
